We’re planning a new community park, and we want you to help shape it! Whether you're a dog walker, a picnic lover, or a sunset chaser, this is your chance to plant your ideas and watch them bloom. ๐ŸŒผ

Make a submission today and help design your dream green space!

Background

Our town is growing, and so is the need for vibrant, inclusive outdoor spaces. That’s why we’re transforming a vacant lot on Main Street into The Patchwork Patch - a community-designed park that reflects the heart and soul of our neighbourhood.

We’re inviting locals to help us decide what goes into the park. Should it have a skate ramp? A veggie garden? A giant hammock zone? This consultation is your chance to co-create a space that’s welcoming, sustainable, and uniquely ours.

Here’s what we’re aiming for:

  • A park that’s accessible and safe for all ages and abilities
  • Features that reflect local culture, creativity, and community needs
  • A space that supports wellbeing, biodiversity, and connection

We Want Feedback On

  • What features should be included in the park
  • How the space can be used throughout the year

I'd visited for a three week trip and fell in love with the place. The charm, the people, the history. It's magic.
